This year's film program is slightly different from past years. In addition to recent releases we are showcasing several 1950 films in honor of the 1950 "Retro Hugo" awards to be awarded at this years World Science Fiction Convention. (Note: The nominations close March 31st, so come to the film program to get a better idea what 1950 movies deserve a Hugo.) The newer films scheduled are also eligible for a Hugo award this year and include "Fantasia 2000", "Chicken Run" and a very new film "Shadow of the Vampire". Additionally as a special attraction, we are showing this back-to-back with the "original" Dracula film "Nosferatu", a 1922 silent movie the story of which is told in "Shadow of the Vampire".
